Breathing in Technology
Every morning I wake up to the sound of music playing from my computer. As I’m getting ready for a day of school, I watch my favorite show on Netflix’s. Oh, did I mention my school is online, so I use my computer every day for that. Then after school, I spend time doing homework and watching shows. Something that I use my computer constantly for is looking up articles for school projects, or even just to read to myself, to get a better understanding. So, here’s the thing, I can’t use my phone for some of the articles because they don’t have the download I use, so I can only use my computer. I don’t think that there is ever a day that I don’t use my computer. My computer is basically by my side every day. Mostly because my whole life is stored into it rather its school, pictures, meetings, saved games, passwords for all my social medias, etc.
My specific computer is a MacBook Air, and let me just tell you I love it! On a website called “Bestreviews.com” they state that the IOS mac is ranked 3rd best computer brand in 2020. It’s super easy to carry, because of how light it is. Not only that, but out of all the computer I have had, this would for sure be the fastest one I’ve had. It saves all my tabs so that makes it even faster getting to the website I must use. On the tabs bar, if you scoot whatever tab you want to the left, rather it be your portal, YouTube, Netflix’s, etc. Then that tab will stay there forever, even if you restart your computer. Easy enough, if you don’t want it there anymore you just scoot it to the opposite side and that will get rid of it. One of my all-time favorite features on my MacBook is that I get to facetime my friends on it. This is probably the most used feature on my computer, mostly because every night I talk to my friends on my computer and play games on my phone.
For the computer I have, the colors to choose from are silver, space grey, and gold. The color of my computer is gold, and when I first saw the color, I was mind blown at how pretty it was. One thing about the color is that the gold looks more like a rose gold, but that made me like it even more. Another thing about MacBook’s is that they are known for stickers. If you go on to any shopping website and type in “Stickers for MacBook’s”, They will have some amazing stickers for the computer. Also, who doesn’t love to add a little spice to something that is plain. The reason people put stickers on their Macs is because they go amazing with the color. I have one ticker on my computer, and it is a Pura Vida wave sticker, and it is to the right of my keypad, I could say that it matches perfect.
When picking out a computer one of the most important parts is to see what brand fits you and works the best. Over the years I have had so many different brands, and I have to say that this one never fails me. I absolutely love Apple products and would probably choose them over any other brand. According to “MacRumors.com” they state, “A new survey conducted by CNBC has found that 64 percent of Americans own an Apple product of some kind, a number that’s increased from 50 percent in a similar survey published in 2012”. So clearly, I am not the only one who thinks this way. Not only that though, Apple is the largest technology company out there, and let’s just say they have several products, starting from Phones and ending with watches. Again, my favorite feature is Facetime, and I couldn’t get that on a Samsung, so for me that make a huge difference on picking a brand.
Today, computers are being used everywhere, especially when it comes to jobs and school. In an article called “Why I Love Technology” The author states “Technology is the future. Marketing, business, entertainment, and many other aspects of life have already converted to being mainly run online, what is next?”. I hold high standards when it comes to stuff I love, and my computer is a strict one of mine. If I am being completely honest, it does meet that standard because, I never have a problem when I’m using it. If anything, this computer in general makes my life so much easier when it comes school and work. Not only that, but it stores a lot of photos and all my passwords, its fast running, and the speaker quality is amazing. The overall assessment is great, and the quality is astatic.
